Come and Join me this Winter to an unforgettable adventure to the Norfolk Coast, home to one of our amazing Marine Mammals, The Atlantic Grey Seal.
40% of the entire world population of Atlantic Grey Seals make their home around the coasts of Britain, especially on the rocky northern and western shores and islands. Having spent the lazy summer days out at sea, as winter arrives the seals return to the shelter of the dunes and beaches to give birth to their young pups and then eventually breeding again.
This workshop is timed during the peak of the pupping season and is truly an incredible spectacle for any wildlife enthusiast and photographer. I have been photographing the Grey Seal population around the UK coast line for over 5 years now and have had some incredible encounters and it has produced editorial images time and time again.
We will be staying in a beautiful cottage, which is an incredibly spacious Eco Barn that is ideally located just minutes away from the Beach and the seal colony.

I have been working alongside the Friends of Horsey to ensure that this workshop undertakes ethical & respectful photography practices under their guidelines. I will be on hand at all times to offer photography advice and tuition where needed and to keep you at a safe distance from seals and pups to avoid any disturbance to the animals and their welfare all while achieving great imagery.
There will typically be two main photography sessions per day one in the morning and then again in the afternoon, this will give us the best opportunities and light to work with.
During our time in the barn I will be on hand to answer any questions you have wildlife and photography related.
Any one who has done my workshops before know that I do not hold anything back and will give my absolute all when it comes to teaching. You will get every bit of knowledge and experience I have gained over the years as a photographer. The evenings in the barn will also include image critique and post production help and advice.
